沖壓機器人在沖壓領域的應用，正顯露出越來越大的優點。沖壓機器人正在被廣泛的應用到沖壓領域，隨著沖壓機器人技術的不斷發展和日臻完善，它必將給沖壓領域帶來一次巨大的變革。
沖壓機器人的特點：
1. 沖壓機器人工作時間長。一天24小時都可以連續運作，而人工必須要有休息時間。
 2. 沖壓機器人可替代人工進行危險性作業。在某些沖壓領域，不少的工序是很有危險性的，沖壓行業的原理就是利用沖床的重量沖壓來進行生產，其人工在一旁操作危險性很大，沖壓機器人運轉的話就消除了老板的這一顧慮，不然發生斷手斷指，單賠償費用就30-40萬。
 3. 沖壓機器人成本低，半年能回本。一臺機器人大概在7-15萬。成本前期來說會是一筆不小的錢，可是按時間，月份來算的話也就相當于員工大半年的工資。
 4. 沖壓機器人不用發工資，效率高。當然，沖壓機器人是不用發工資的，而且運作效率非常之高，比起人工的出錯率要低很多。
 減少工人手工技術的依賴性。在中國，普工的占比很高，工人手工技術的依賴性也非常之大，社會需要進步，必然制造業也要不斷的科技化，效率化，沖壓機器人替代人工，也將減少工人手工技術的依賴性。
